The UCF Community Veterans History Project team is made up of students majoring in history and student veterans. This public history project offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain research experience, while honoring veterans. Opportunities to conduct research based on a veteran’s service history, operate video recording equipment, transcribe interviews, convert video formats, detail audio-video logs, and interface with digital collections teach students skills needed for jobs in the field.
Additionally, recent graduates interested in honoring veterans can serve also on the project team.
